MIGRATION
Switch from FrameReady without starting over.
SimpleFrame migrates customers, work orders, invoices, and shop pricing from FrameReady. The shop keeps running. The deadline to know: September 3, 2026 — that is when FrameReady says FileMaker stops opening.
What moves
- Customers
- Work orders
- Invoices
- Shop pricing
We do not invent extra record types we have not moved. If you have something unusual in FrameReady, tell us on the screen-share and we will say whether it comes across.
How the move works
01
Show us your shop
A short call or screen-share. You show us FrameReady — or whatever you run today — and we take it from there.
02
We move everything
Customers, work orders, invoices, and shop pricing. We check counts against the old system so the history you rely on is the history you get.
03
You test it with your real data
You evaluate SimpleFrame loaded with your own customers and orders — not a generic demo dataset. FrameReady stays put until you say go.
04
Go live, staff trained
We train around your shop hours and stay close through the first weeks. Day one is taking orders, not learning software alone.
Timeline
Most shops are fully moved in a single session. You review your own customers and orders in SimpleFrame before anyone flips the switch. Staff training is scheduled around shop hours.
If you are still on FrameReady, plan around September 3, 2026 — the date FrameReady has given for FileMaker stopping. Support already ended August 1, 2026. FrameReady alternative details.
Common questions
What actually moves from FrameReady?
Customers, work orders, invoices, and shop pricing. We check record counts against your old system so nothing obvious is dropped.
How long does the move take?
Most shops are fully moved in a single session. We work on a screen-share, you review your data in SimpleFrame, and we schedule staff training around shop hours.
Will my shop go down during the switch?
Your old system stays untouched while you evaluate SimpleFrame loaded with your own records. There is no point of no return until you are ready to go live.
What if we are on LifeSaver, spreadsheets, or paper?
FrameReady is the most common starting point. If your records exist somewhere, we can usually bring them over. Email info@buildkind.tech and tell us what you run today.
When do we need to be off FrameReady?
FrameReady support ended August 1, 2026. FrameReady says the FileMaker license / software stops opening September 3, 2026. Start the conversation before that date if you want time to review your data.
Can I see SimpleFrame first?
Yes. Open pos.simpleframe.app/login with no signup, then email us when you want your own files moved.
Ready when you are
Try the live demo, then email info@buildkind.tech with a note that you are on FrameReady. We will schedule the screen-share.
