What happens to all my old customers and orders?
They come with you. We move your full history — customers, past work orders, invoices, and your pricing — out of your old POS and into SimpleFrame, set up the way you already had it. Nothing is left behind.
How long does switching actually take?
Most shops are fully moved in a single session. We do the migration on a screen-share, you review your data in SimpleFrame, and we schedule staff training around your shop hours. Your old system stays untouched the whole time, so there's no point of no return until you're ready.
Which systems can you migrate from?
Older desktop framing programs are what we see most, and we've built the process around them. If you're on spreadsheets, another POS, or paper order books, talk to us — if your records exist somewhere, we can usually bring them over.
My staff isn't very technical. Can they actually use it?
If they can use an iPad or a phone, they can use SimpleFrame. It's built to feel like the apps they already use every day — and we train your whole team in person so everyone is comfortable before you go live.
Can I keep my own pricing and markups?

What if the internet goes down at the counter?
SimpleFrame runs in the cloud with automatic backups, so your data is safe and available from any tablet, laptop, or phone. If your shop's connection drops, you can keep working from a phone hotspot until it's back — nothing is trapped on one back-office computer.
Do I need to buy new hardware?
No. SimpleFrame runs in the browser on the tablet, laptop, or counter PC you already own. If it can open a website, it can run your shop — there's nothing to install and no server in the back room.
My old system runs on an aging Windows PC. Is that a problem?
It's actually the most common reason shops call us. Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 in October 2025, and a lot of desktop framing software still lives on machines like that. We can pull your data off that computer and into the cloud before anything happens to it — and afterwards, SimpleFrame doesn't depend on any one machine.

How does the fee guarantee work?
Send a recent card-processing statement. We compare it side-by-side with card processing through SimpleFrame on an integrated merchant account. The guarantee is lower fees than you are paying now — not a one-size-fits-all public rate. Quotes vary by volume, card mix, and how your current deal is structured, which is why we will not publish a teaser percentage on this site.
What do you need from us?
A recent processor statement (the last one or two months is ideal) and a rough sense of monthly card volume. Email it to info@buildkind.tech or walk through it on a call. Redact account numbers if you prefer — we need the rate and fee lines, not your bank credentials.
What if you can't beat our rate?
We say so. This is not a claim that every shop in every situation gets a magic number. If your current deal is already better, we tell you rather than ask you to switch into a worse one. You can still run SimpleFrame as your POS and migrate from FrameReady, LifeSaver, or spreadsheets without changing processors.
